Last night was a bit of a scare. He spiked a fever and coughed up blood, so I called the 24-hr nurse line and they told us to rush him to the E.R. When we got there, they took him right away. He was running a low-grade fever and they took an x-ray of his chest and swabbed his nose to rule out Flu. The test came back negative and the chest x-ray ruled out pneumonia. We were so happy to hear that. He just has a severe upper respitory infection with a little croup cough. The doctor told us that we are doing everything that we can already so we just have to keep a close eye on his fever and keep giving him tylenol. He's a tough little guy and hopefully will do a lot better real soon. I'm just grateful that we have a hospital really close by.
Please keep him in your thoughts...

Oh my gosh, how scary!!! I'm glad it wasn't anything super-serious.
But OMG, how CUTE is he!?! I hope I can meet him soon and smooch those little chubby cheeks!
I am glad he is ok. I think about him ALL the time. You guys are in my prayers every single day. I love that little man.
