We survived two months of Lawson!

Mommy's Notes:

The second month got even tougher with the you big guy. You became quite colic with intense bouts of abdominal pain, bloating and gas. You were colic every single day for almost a month. We thought "not again" since Calan was also this way but he was battling much bigger demons. After 10 weeks of breastfeeding, we decided to try soy formula. Within 24 hours we saw a much more peaceful, happier Lawson. This made for a happier mommy and daddy. So, mommy is going to donate her frozen milk supply to a milk bank so preemies can have some much needed nutrition.

You have been cooing a lot which is so special to mommy and daddy since we didn't get to see that in your brother. We've also seen some cute little smiles and even a giggle! You have the strongest grips I've ever seen in a baby and those legs just keep a moving. You are sleeping much better at night and love the glow seahorse to lullaby you off to dreamland. You are still sleeping very close to mommy since you stir quite often during the night and I want to keep you near my heart for as long as possible.

Love your descriptions. Glad you figured out the colic/milk issue and good for you for going at it so long & donating your milk!

He's such a cutie and I hear you on keeping him close - they get big so fast!
