One Month Old Lawson

Mommy's Notes:

The first month has been trying at times but so wonderful to have you home. I love so many things about you already. You are so long...you wrap around me when you feed and kick those little legs of yours. I love watching you go off to dreamland. You recently started sleeping 4 hours at once in your crib. Mommy really loves that. You like your paci to help you go night night but other than that, you don't really care for it and either use your hand to fling it out of your mouth or you shoot it across the room. You are too funny. Your brother has had a hard time adjusting to you coming home but he has since starting to point to your head, nose, eyes, mouth, legs, hands...it's precious.

You are eating like a pro and gaining weight.  You took to feeding within minutes of being born and haven't looked back. That was amazing to see. You've taken to a bottle a few times too and didn't miss a beat. As soon as you began to hold your head up, you began demanding to be on your tummy so you've been sleeping like that ever since. You LOVE being on your tummy and scream when you are on your back which was the complete opposite of your brother. You two are so different in many ways. You were born with dark brown hair and your brother was bald and has blond hair. You were also 2 lbs heavier and 2 inches longer at birth! I knew you were going to be bigger since mommy was measuring big but still was so shocked when you came out how long you were.

You have one of the biggest yawns I've ever seen. You love hearing the sound of mommy's voice. You hate being swaddled. You have to have your arms and hands close to your face at all times possible. You have the sweetest cry for mommy. I will always come running to you.
