If you picked Batman, you were right!
The braces have come in and we couldn't be more excited!
Calan tried them on to make sure they fit properly during his PT session today.
They fit him like a glove and he absolutely loved them!
He has to wear long tube socks so his skin doesn't irritate.
You could see how happy he was when he started "walking" in them.
Lanee (his PT) got him to push a toy standing up and she
only used minimal assistance to avoid falling.
He did so well!

Now, I'm not going to get my hopes up but I could see
such a dramatic difference with the braces on.
His posture was better and his knees didn't lock as much.
He also didn't buckle as easily.
He had such a cute expression on his face the whole time.
I think this is exactly what we've been waiting for.
He has to wear these all day long and they will be
taken off during naptime and nighttime.
We have to start weaning him into these so
for the first few days, he'll rotate when he wears them.
