It was short and sweet this year. We decided to stay in town and host whomever wanted to visit. The lucky few were my Dad, Shiela and Jody's parents. The little guy really wanted to taste those mashed potatoes but maybe next year. He got a front row seat at the table but unfortunately did not get to taste the goods.
What I'm thankful for this year: my beautiful, healthy baby boy and my wonderful husband. Also, the fact that I have a job and money to put a roof over our heads.
I just want to add that the holidays really make me miss my family, especially my mother, grandmothers and aunts. I love you very much.

Don't you just love that high-chair? It's the one we have and it is SO much better than having a huge one! Plus, it travels well, just FYI. ;)
