Melissa's 30!

Thank you to everyone for the birthday cards and gifts. I can't believe that yesterday I turned 30 years old. Actually, it was also my sister Lesley's birthday and my Aunt Shirley's birthday too. I especially want to thank my twin sister Les and her husband Brian for making my birthday really special. They really know how to make someone feel wonderful. I spent the day with my son (still trying to figure out why he is so colicky) and found out that he has an allergy to cow's milk and probably been the reason for all the vomiting, colic, fussiness, sleeplessness, etc. So, happy birthday to me! We found a soy-based formula and will incorporate that into his feeding schedule. We will see if that works. Jody surprised me by coming home early and helping me out with Calan. It was nice to see them spending quality time together. He took me out to eat while the grandparents babysat. Apparently, Calan just slept in his swing and when Grandma and Grandpa left he started up his crying until 1am! I still haven't figured out their secret. Everytime they watch him he is super good. Anyway, I am having a big party at my house tomorrow celebrating the big 3-0 and the birth of my son and our beautiful home. Can't wait to see everyone!
